Abstract

This research aims to explore the drawings made by children in elementary school by reviewing the elements of fine art such as line, shape, color, texture, and space. The background of this research is based on the importance of understanding children's drawings as a form of visual expression that shows their visual development and imagination. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on 4th grade elementary school students. Data was collected through observation of students' drawings and analyzed in a visual way. The findings of this study show that the visual features in children's drawings reflect their unique stage of thinking and imagination. These results provide a significant basis for increasing teachers' and parents' appreciation of children's artwork and contribute to the development of children's creative potential from an early age.
