Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of varied lecture methods in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at Insan Cendekia Integrated Islamic Junior High School, as well as identify its influence on students' learning motivation. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data is obtained through observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of the study show that the lecture method varies that combines lectures, discussions, visual media, and interactive evaluations are able to create a dynamic and interesting learning atmosphere. Students' intrinsic motivation is enhanced through inspirational stories and relevant learning media, while extrinsic motivation is driven by teacher praise and appreciation. The main challenges in implementing this method include limited facilities, time management, and differences in students' levels of understanding. The proposed solutions include optimizing the use of technology, effective time planning, and the formation of heterogeneous study groups. Overall, the application of varied lecture methods has been shown to be effective in increasing learning motivation and building student engagement cognitively, affectively, and psychomotorly.
